TOFU Mission Statement

Our Mission is to educate and help people that have Lyme Disease. We raise money through fundraisers such as Lyme Aid, Lyme Jam and the generous contributions of donors such as Arendtsville Planing Mill, and The Gettysburg Pub and Restaurant.

T.O.F.U. has embarked on a serious and continuing fundraising campaign which will serve three basic goals:

• To aid in developing and strengthening Lyme disease awareness, by sponsoring educational programs, literature, and the like.



• To support medical research which is vitally necessary to develop better techniques and, ultimately, a cure for Lyme disease.



• To establish a fund to help victims of Lyme disease defray medical expenses. When the fund reaches $1 million, the interest will be distributed each year to needy victims, through decisions made by an independent Review Board.
